After a month away from competitive Counter-Strike, Ninjas in Pyjamas have seen the return of Dennis “dennis” Edman. dennis stepped away from the team after he “experienced some fatigue due to heavy scheduling and traveling,” the post states.

William “draken” Sundin, a former Ninja was there waiting in the wings, however, and stepped up to fill the vacancy during BLAST Pro Series Miami, ECS season 7 week 1, and the StarSeries i-League season 7 finals. Ninjas in Pyjamas went 14-14 in total map count during draken’s time with the squad.

dennis makes his return in time for the squads first ESL Pro League matches coming up next week. The last time he played in an official with the squad they fell to Astralis 2-0 in the IEM Katowice Major quarterfinals.

“A month of calm and relaxation, which was more than needed, is now over. I’m so hyped about coming back and it was very hard to watch all the games from home, all I wanted to do was to get back on the server and pop some heads!” dennis said in the official announcement to the Ninjas in Pyjamas website.

“However, I believe this will help me and my team to become even better than before I took this break. More majors, better placements and a lot of sick games incoming. You better be ready, ladies & gentlemen!” he added.
