Envy is looking to make some roster moves for its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster. This comes from a report by DPLTAP which states up to three players are on the chopping block.
According to the report Ryan “ryann” Welsh and one of either Michał “MICHU” Müller or Buğra “Calyx” Arkin may be on their way out and it’s possible all three could be making their exit. The main issue with all three players being replaced is the reset of Regional Major Rankings points the lineup has already earned.
It seems Peter “ptr” Gurney is being looked at as a possible addition to Envy. The 30-year-old has played for the likes of Luminosity, Complexity, NRG, and more throughout his career. He’s known as an AWPer, a role that has been passed around between Noah “Nifty” Francis and others on Envy throughout his time on the roster.
While many wouldn’t question the removal of ryann given his performance over the course of 2020, Calyx and MICHU on the other hand have been two of the strongest players for this lineup.
Envy’s CS:GO division if all three players are released:
-Noah “Nifty” Francis
-Kaleb “moose” Jayne
-Nikola “LEGIJA” Ninić (coach)
