Valve has released another update for the popular first-person shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Vertigo is heavily targeted.

The most recent map to make its way into the competitive map pool has been heavily criticized since its release with many calling for its removal even to this day.

The development team has kept their ears and eyes open though and provided changes to the map based on community feedback while discovering and addressing glitches, bugs, and exploits. This isn’t the first time Valve has adjusted the map with small or big changes either with almost every update bringing some sort of adjustment.

This post-Major update removes entire an entire piece of the map (forklift) while adding a new path near A site, among other significant changes. You can find the full Vertigo adjustments followed by the full patch notes:

A bombsite

  • Removed forklift at bottom of lower A ramp
  • Tightened doorway leading to lower A ramp slightly
  • Closed gap in wooden fence by A site crane
  • Added new side-path from scaffolding to A site
  • Made scaffolding wider
  • Removed lower exit from scaffolding
  • Closed one of the exits from CT elevator room to A site
  • Moved drywall stack in exit from elevator room to A site
  • Widened tall cover on A site

B bombsite

  • Widened entrance to B site from CT spawn
  • Added blockers to ends of outer walkway around B site

Miscellaneous

  • Removed dark cubby by HVACs near T spawn
  • Removed door in mid, cleaned up mid geometry
  • Blocked gap in sandbags on lower A ramp
  • Re-colored bombsite boxes to red
  • Sliced corner in top mid
  • Removed boxes in CT spawn
  • Brightened interior lights overall
