The Twitch Rivals initiative is about to tackle one of the hottest games — or rather game modes — in gaming right now: Dota 2 Auto Chess. On Feb. 5-6, 32 streamers will gather to test whose army building skills are the best.

The endeavor makes perfect sense in a world where everyone is talking about Dota 2 Auto Chess (except those going wild about Apex Legends, perhaps). A part Dota, part strategy, part tactics, the game mode has become the love affair of many Twitch streamers, who’ve now abandoned their primary games to build synergistic armies of orc, trolls, mages and assassins. So, of course, a Twitch Rivals event was the only logical next step.

The tournament has attracted some of the biggest names on Twitch. We’re talking Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang, Jeffrey “Trump” Shih, Sebastian “Forsen” Fors, Dima “Rdu” Radu, Henrik “AdmiralBulldog” Ahnberg, Marcus “dyrus” Hill and more.

As usual, each streamer will broadcast its own point of view. There will also be a primary broadcast available here. The 32 players will be split into four pools and initial placement in those will determine the next pairings. The start time is 09:00 PT / 18:00 CET.
