One day ahead of the Chongqing Major group stage we had the chance to interview the fresh winner of the Bucharest Minor, Zhang “Faith_bian” Ruida.

It’s been a long time since EHOME or even Faith_bian himself has been on the Major stages, so we were happy to talk about his comeback, about EHOME’s training and about how they plan to approach this event. He expressed his opinion about the tournament format and he explained why having four groups of four teams each is detrimental for everyone playing at the Major.

EHOME secured today an upper bracket seed going into the playoffs but, his former Wings Gaming teammate, Chu “shadow” Zeyu is just about to start his group stage run tomorrow, with Team Liquid. So, we’ve been curious to find out if they chatted here, in Chongqing, and how does he feel about a potential match-up against Shadow.

See the full interview in the video below, and don’t forget to tune in tomorrow, January, 20 for day 2 at the Chongqing Major!
