With the recent confirmation of the BTS Pro Series Season 3: Europe/CIS event, a new team was seen on the horizon as Adrian “Fata” Trinks and Neta “33” Shapira teaming up to create mudgolems.

Beyond the Summit Pro Series Season 3 was confirmed for the EU/CIS region last night, with nine teams from the region fighting for a prize pool of $50,000, and while most of the teams have been seen before, a new name appeared with “mudgolems” claiming the final invite to the event. While the name may be new, the players on the squad are definitely not, with Adrian “Fata” Trinks and Neta “33” Shapira joining forces once again to create a new squad.

Having paired up for the first time almost two years ago when they joined Ninjas in Pyjamas, the two players have since been almost inseparable on Dota 2 squads, sticking with NiP until late last year before joining Alliance until earlier this year. Following their concurrent departure from Alliance, neither player has really seen much Dota 2 action – with 33 playing as a stand-in for OG at ESL One Los Angeles Online: EU & CIS in March and a substitute for Cyber Legacy as Epic Prime League Season 1. Now, the two join forces with a few other well-known names as they look toward the BTS Pro Series Season 3: EU/CIS event.

The full mudgolems roster is:

  • Oliver “skiter” Lepko
  • Duško “BoraNija” Boranijaševic
  • Neta “33” Shapira
  • Milan “MiLaN” Kozomara
  • Adrian “Fata” Trinks

It will be interesting to see what this squad can do, considering the lack of “tier 1” teams within BTS Pro Series Season 3: EU/CIS and with a chance to shine against their previous roster of NiP, mudgolems are sure to make a great showing. The event kicks off on September 12th, 2020, with mudgolems playing their first series against Khan – which should give us a great indicator of their style and strategies.
