Team Anvorgesa, or the Cat Burger team, impressed at the last Minor of the season, the StarLadder ImbaTV Season 2 Minor. Anvorgesa defeated the likes of Winstrike and EHOME in Ukraine and they brought their good form with them to the South American regional qualifiers for The International 2019. When Infamous’ roster with Dominik ‘Black^’ Reitmeier failed to qualify to the regional qualifiers, the organization was quick to pick up Team Anvorgesa. And it seems to have paid off quite well! Bear in mind, this team, which came to the limelight only in the last Minor of the season and they haven’t played in a single Major, are going to the biggest esports competition of the year! Stuff of dreams, right there.

With the South American qualifiers done, 15 teams out of the 18 have been finalized for TI9. Besides Infamous, Mineski from SEA and Na’Vi from CIS are the other teams to make it to TI9 via the qualifiers. The Chinese, European and North American qualifiers for TI9 are to start on the 11th of June. By the 14th of June, we will have a full set of 18 teams who will be travelling to Shanghai in August to fight for the Aegis!
