The group stages of ESL One Mumbai 2019 came to an end today with Mineski taking another victory over The Pango in group B and securing their upper bracket showing in the playoffs.

Group B opened with The Pango and Signify going head-to-head after neither were able to secure a victory in their opening series on day one. Unfortunately for the Indian squad they were still unable to gain a firm footing against anyone. After 22-minute losses in both games yesterday, they were quickly brought to dual 27-minute losses today. While the team were definitely having some issues keeping up with their opponent’s, they are not out the event just yet as they will now face TNC Predator in the lower bracket.

The final series of the day was between Mineski and The Pango and it was a thrilling affair. After a hard-fought first game which went the way of the Southeast Asia squad, The Pango managed to dominate and tie up the series – finally managing to take a game off their opponents. But the decisive game of the series was just absolutely brutal as Mineski won all three lanes in the early period and constantly stomped the CIS squad.

The 2-1 victory would see Mineski join Keen Gaming in the upper bracket for Group B with their opponent tomorrow being the North American’s of Team Team. The action of ESL One Mumbai 2019 is over for today but tomorrow we will see the playoffs begin as we get closer to the main stage at the NSCI Dome in India.
