The second DPC Minor of the year has ended and as expected, Team Nigma, who were the favorites, won the event and booked their spot in the Leipzig Major. Nigma’s start to the tournament was not the best, but as they often do, they picked up as the tournament progressed. RNG gave Team Nigma a tough fight in the grand finals, but the inability to close out games cost the Chinese team. Let’s take a look at the team statistics for the Bukovel Minor.
Hero Statistics for the WePlay! Bukovel Minor
Total games played: 40
Total heroes picked: 79
Number of heroes unpicked or unbanned: 35
Most picked hero: Rubick (23 games, 11 wins, 47.83% win rate)
Most contested hero: Doom (40 games, either picked or banned in 100% of the games)
Most banned hero: Doom (32 games)

Hero with lowest win rate (10 games or more): Disruptor (17 games, 7 wins, 41.18% win rate)
Doom seems to be the hero of the meta right now, with the hero being contested in all 40 of the games played at the WePlay! Bukovel Minor. Phantom Lancer has made a strong comeback as well, with an 80% win rate in the 10 games he was picked. The meta is new, but teams are slowly but surely figuring it out.
Nigma now heads to Germany to fight it out with the big boys in the DreamLeague Season 13 Leipzig Major. Nigma had a rough time in the Leipzig Major Europe qualifiers, where they got manhandled by Team Liquid, Team Secret and Alliance. However, they were just coming off the back of an extended break. Now, they seem warmed up and those matchups might pan out a bit differntly in Germany. We’ll know for sure when the event begins on the 18th of January.
