Under a month ago Winstrike made three roster changes in hopes of finding some luck in the CIS Dota 2 community. However, it seems that these have not worked out and the squad have now dropped three once again.
The three additions to the Winstrike roster from March 2019 were the three who were dropped – with communication issues being cited as the reasoning behind the change. Dmitry ‘DM’ Dorokhin, Milan ‘Milan’ Kozomara and Dino ‘dnz’ Šavuk take their leave barely a month after joining.
Maria Gunina, manager of the Winstrike Dota 2 team had the following to say on this,
“The previous month has shown that some problems are impossible to solve in a short time. We needed to make a change but it ended with a reshuffle – and we are just here where we started.”
Moving forward the squad have already announced their new roster which includes the return of Ilya ‘Lil’ Ilyuk to the CIS side of Dota 2. The full new roster for Winstrike is:
- Airat ‘Silent’ Gaziev
- Igor ‘iLTW’ Filatov
- Alexey ‘nongrata’ Vasilyev
- Ilya ‘Lil’ Ilyuk
- Aleksander ‘nofear’ Churochkin
While we will not see this new Winstrike squad in action for a short time as teams compete in ESL One Mumbai and the OGA Dota Pit Minor for the next few weeks, they seem set to prosper.
