Another player expected to be a part of the rumored OG lineup has left his previous organization. Team Vitality has revealed that Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt is no longer a member of the organization.
NBK- was a founding member of the Vitality CS:GO division back in October of 2018. The team peaked at second in the world during Team Liquid’s dominant run but were unable to maintain that position and have since fallen outside of the top five. Richard “shox” Papillon was brought in to replace NBK- in the active roster following his benching after the team was eliminated from the StarLadder Major in Berlin.
This comes just a day after North announced that Valdemar “valde” Bjørn Vangså had been transferred to an “unnamed team.”
While nothing is official as of now, it is highly expected that the player will be joining the new lineup rumored to be coming out of OG Esports. The back-to-back Dota 2 The International champions are looking to jump into CS:GO with an experienced and capable roster led by NBK, Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen and featuring Issa “ISSAA” Murad alongside valde.
It was recently reported that Mateusz “mantuu” Wilczewski will be rounding out the new OG lineup instead of the originally expected Elias “Jamppi” Olkkonen.
At this time there has been no word from ENCE regarding the transfer of Aleksib which may be holding back the big move.
However, with the other players being moved out of their previous lineups, it’s expected that OG will make its announcement sooner rather than later.
