A long time has passed since we got the last news about ‘Ruined King, a League of Legends Story‘, the RPG created by Riot Games that was officially announced during the last edition of the League of Legends World Championship through a trailer.
In that announcement, Riot Games claimed that the game would be available at the beginning of 2021, and since then, they have been working hard on this turn-based RPG, which includes a big map to explore and many unknown characters, apart from those revealed in the trailer, the six main characters of the game: Pyke, Braum, Miss Fortune, Illaoi, Ahri, and Yasuo.
With all these things to be created, it is not a surprise that Riot Forge, the brand in charge of developing the game, has announced that they will be delaying ‘Ruined King: A League of Legends Story’s release‘.

According to Riot Forge’s message, they have been struggling a lot this year, and some things have been too problematic, which has made them re-evaluate their timelines and take the decision to delay the launch.
“We told you at Worlds 2020 we’d be taking you across Runeterra’s port cities and haunting isles in ‘Early 2021,’ but it looks like it’s going to take a little bit longer to get there”. This is why they have changed their message from “Coming early 2021” to just “Coming 2021”.
Despite the sad news, we have had some enjoyment with the new teaser released by the company during The Game Awards, which shows us some gameplay where we can see how the game will look like:
In case you missed the first news about it, this game will be available on several platforms: PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (through Steam and the Epic Games Store).
